We cover both handheld and video games platforms and the site has grown into one of the biggest gaming sites in the continent. Gamersyde is a commercial multiplatform web portal based in Europe, with hundreds of thousands of visitors each month from all over the world. If you own a wheel and it's locked up somewhere in your attic, you might want to give it a try, it's a lot more immersive than using a standard controller. Once you get a hang of the controls, it's quite easy to do some pretty cool stuff and have a lot of fun - you can even tweak the wheel settings in the option menu if the default setting isn't to your liking. The game is still fun to play even though the Microsoft wheel looks more like a toy to me but it's easy to imagine how incredible it must be with the proper wheel. It's a real shame that Xbox 360 owners can't enjoy a very good wheel like the G25. Quick gameplay impressions with the 360 wheel

The funny thing about the 360 version is that you can see your avatar hanging from the rear view mirror. In today's video, I am behind the Microsoft wheel for a whole race in cokpit view so you have a chance to see how impressive it can be.

Two days ago we showed you what the Playstation 3 demo looked like when DjMizuhara was behind the controller. A PC version will be delivered in winter as the team wants to implement the new DirectX 11 graphics technology in it.For once, we have decided to also show you a bit of the Xbox 360 version of the Colin McRae: Dirt 2 demo.

Overall, DiRT 2 is looking extremely good, and with this demo already available for download on consoles, it will definitely leave a good impact on racing fans. This is where players will get to drive the heavy-duty West Coast Choppers-modified Stuka Trophy Truck. The second one will be a Landrush event, set in the breathtaking Ensenada Port circuit in Baja, California. The first one will be a Trailblazer event, as players will push the Mitsubishi Eclipse GT to its limits on a tough Moroccan terrain, filled with high speed straights and challenging hairpin corners.

It will feature two events, both available in single and multiplayer modes, with up to 8 people being able to go head to head in the two challenges. Mind you that this demo is currently only for European users, but it will go worldwide soon enough. But the company has revealed that gamers will be able to see that for themselves, as the demo for the game is up for grabs on the Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Store, for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, respectively.

With the upcoming Colin McRae: DiRT 2, the team at Codemasters has polished up the experience even more and, considering the screenshots and video showed until now, it is looking extremely good. One flagship franchise for the genre has been Codemasters' Colin McRae rally driving series, which pushed endurance racing to its peak and offered a great simulation of just what it is like getting into rally races and competing in some of the toughest environments in the world. Racing games have proven to be an extremely enjoyable passtime and provided many gamers with some unforgettable moments while behind the virtual driving wheel of some of the fastest cars in the most challenging circuits in the world.
